BP is one of the largest integrated
oil companies in the world, operating in 100
countries, on six continents, and serving 10
million customers every day throughout the
world. BP's main activities are exploration and
production of crude oil and natural gas;
refining, marketing, supply and transportation;
solar power and manufacturing and marketing of
petrochemicals.
Chemicals is one of the strategic businesses of
BP, manufacturing and marketing a wide range of
petrochemicals, intermediates, plastics and
specialties. Each year BP sells more than 25
million tons of petrochemicals.
BP operates large-scale manufacturing plants in
the US, the UK, Belgium, France, Germany,
Malaysia and Brazil.

BP utilized the ITS LMS over a one and a half
year, global SAP training roll-out to 6,000
users in North America, Europe and parts of
Asia. During this timeframe, the ITS LMS was
used to manage all online registrations,
confirmations, reminder notifications, student
rosters, evaluations and reporting. It provided
real-time information on enrollment, attendance,
program quality, scheduling and materials
management which resulted in an increase in
attendance and student satisfaction. The system
also allowed BP to maintain records for system
security purposes, ISO certification and quality
assurance measures.
