Project Scope: Convert a 5 day
Instructor-led e.POWER Installation and
Administration workshop into a blended learning
solution comprising of elearning and
instructor-led components.
Project Solution: Due to the breadth of
the content and the requirement to create a
modular training program that would address the
needs of a broader audience, ITS recommended a
complete blended learning solution encompassing
5 e-learning modules, a 2 day instructor-led
component and deployment of branded LMS to host
and manage the training program. Our solution
consisted of full instructional design and
development of 1 hour of level 1 overview
content supplemented by 9 hours of
simulation-based content with audio and quizzes
to measure comprehension of material. The
content is branded with the client’s logo and
colors and designed to be AICC compliant. ITS
managed the deployment and delivery of the
content, including design and development of a
learning portal and deployment through our
learning management system (LMS). We managed all
email communications of course availability to
employees.
Project Outcome: The project was a great
success. The blended solution proved to be
cost-effective for delivering content to
multiple audiences and provided a just-in-time
solution for integrating learning and new
project assignments for the client. ITS is
engaging in additional eLearning projects and
working on upgrades to existing content.
