Project Scope: To develop a solution
for delivering a proprietary course to 500
employees located throughout North America
within a short timeframe. The objective of this
course is to teach client managers/ISO auditors
how to use their Electronic Document Management
System for completing reports online.
Project Solution: Based on the
geographically dispersed audience and the short
timeframe for delivery, ITS proposed an
eLearning solution to save both time and
dollars. Our solution consisted of designing and
developing course content, as well as hosting,
deploying and managing the delivery of this
web-based course.
Working closely with the client, our team built
a 45-minute, simulation-based course with audio
designed to provide client managers with the
knowledge required to successfully complete
eReports in the document management system.
Learners are given a test at the end of the
course to ensure their understanding of the
material. The material was developed to be AICC
compliant and branded with the client’s logo and
colors. ITS provided web-based hosting for the
course in our client-branded learning management
system. This allowed client managers 24 x 7
access from anywhere.
Project Outcome: This project was
completed on-time and resulted in a significant
cost-savings through eliminating the time and
travel costs associated with traditional
instructor-led events. The client has adopted
this course as a standard for all new hires.
