Project Scope: To provide courseware
development services to convert proprietary,
leader-led life cycle management course modules
into a single web-based course. The purpose of
the conversion was to eliminate the need to
travel executives around the world to deliver
this course.
Project Solution: The ITS courseware
development team consisted of technical subject
matter experts (SME’s), content developers,
instructional designers, copy editors and
project managers. Our team created one web-based
course based on the pre-defined content provided
by the client. In addition, we incorporated
learning activities, such as summary and review
questions, within the material to encourage
learner interaction. Our team worked with the
client’s Knowledge Services department to ensure
the course adhered to their specific templates
and processes and also to deploy the course in
their proprietary environment.
Project Outcome: The project was
completed on-time and on-budget and was viewed
as highly effective by the audience. By
eliminating the need to travel executives for
course delivery, the client realized a return on
investment after only 1 delivery and plan for 25
more deliveries over the next 9 months. ITS has
subsequently developed numerous additional
eLearning projects for this client. Topics
include: Product Dependability, Code Inspection,
Customer Relationships I & II, Services
Orientation, Financial Overview, Supplier
Engagements, New Employee Welcome Online (NEWOL),
and Productivity Tools Training to name a few.
