International Technology Solutions, Inc.
Announces Further Improvements to their
Learning Management System
Wake Forest, North Carolina—February
1, 2006— International
Technology Solutions, Inc. (ITS), a
leading provider of corporate learning
solutions to Global 2000 businesses,
announced further improvements to their
web-based learning management system (LMS).
Based on client request, ITS has added a
manager approval feature to the
registration portion of their LMS.
This feature allows managers to either
accept or decline an employees training
request. Specifically, students are
permitted to register for a course in
the system pending managerial approval.
Email notifications are sent to managers
indicating pending registrations.
Managers simply log into the ITS LMS and
either approve or deny student
registrations. Students are notified via
email on the status of their
registration.
“We have found that the managerial
approval feature provides managers the
ability to organize and regulate their
employees training paths,” says Michael
Ciarletta, President, ITS. The manager
approval feature is a component of the
core system, however, is currently
offered to clients as an optional
feature.
